Control follows consequences
When an action is reversible and does not affect rights, money or safety, an agent may operate with broader boundaries. Irreversible or sensitive decisions need prior review.
Set the control level from the consequence of error, not a vendor's confidence in the model.
Three useful models
People can review every output, exceptions only or a sample. Full review fits early stages and high risk. Exception review requires dependable uncertainty detection. Sampling identifies slow degradation.

Control should create improvement data
Turn corrections into structured signals: what failed, which source was missed and which rule was violated. A generic negative rating explains little.
Well-designed human oversight protects the process and creates data for the next improvement cycle.
